Air Partner have been offering trusted aviation solutions for 60 years. Adding new divisions to our portfolio all the time and expanding our markets globally, we are going from strength to strength. Leaders in aviation charter, we are looking for a Broker to join our Private Jet Charter division, based in France. You will be responsible for attaining and maintaining high earning, key accounts, whilst providing support for both the Team and the Head of Department.
You will assist with large contract and other ad hoc projects, developing key client and supplier relationships and also tightening global relationships with other Air Partner offices.
This role is a remote role, although you will need to ideally live within a commutable distance of Paris and be willing to participate in client / airport visits and also be happy with the possibility of some international travel as part of the role. This role offers a basic salary, plus a commission scheme.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Day to day trading
· Building excellent partnerships with the Operators as well as with our clients
· Delivering first-class customer service to ensure that all flights meet the clients’ deadlines and expectations
· Generating sales from new leads and making sales calls in order to retain clients and revive dormant ones
· Taking part in meeting hot prospects, as well as being a driver in existing contract renewal projects
· Maintaining high performance and high levels of broking activity to find the best solution to meet our clients’ needs
· Increasing the client database through sales activities - this can involve cold calling
· Providing support to the team when requested (including but not limited to flight preparation, airport assistance, client meetings and flight riding)
What we are looking for:
· Fluency in both French and English language (written and verbal) is essential
· Previous experience working as a private jet broker or aviation sales in an international environment desirable but anyone with a strong aviation background will be considered
· Additional language skills would be beneficial
· A willingness and ability to travel globally if required is essential, although travel is minimal
· A self-motivated individual with a strong interest in aviation and/or travel essential
· A competitive attitude, entrepreneurial, with a sales mindset and a desire to succeed
· Customer focus with great people skills and the ability to form and maintain good relationships with key individuals
· First class communication skills, with a strong telephone manner
· An ability and willingness to generate consistent GP for the company
· Excellent time management skills ensuring rigorous contract /project deadlines are met
· A well organized and resourceful person, with a logical approach to problem solving
· IT literacy (ideally including experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365) and / or the ability to learn the functions of a new system quickly
· An efficient and accurate approach, with a high attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
· An ability to handle difficult situations in a sometimes, high pressured environment
· An ability to maintain a sense of humor, even in a pressured situation
· An existing client portfolio is a plus, but not mandatory
