Military CAMO Associate - Remote

Baines Simmons, leaders in Aviation Safety Training and Consultancy Services, are looking for an Associate (who will work on an ad-hoc, freelance, daily rate basis) to deliver Military CAMO training to our global customer base. This is a remote working opportunity, but the successful candidate must be willing and able to travel globally as part of the role.

You will deliver regulatory and functional training to delegates working in or supporting a UK Military Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). You will have practical experience and an in-depth knowledge of the UK MAA MRP, in particular the  4900 Continuing Airworthiness Engineering (CAE) series.

Training is delivered as a series of sessions that include practical exercises and delegate participation, so you will be able to explain to delegates all regulatory requirements  and how they are applied within the UK Defence Aviation Environment.   You will also be able to explain the challenges the CAMO Staff face and provide advice and guidance to delegates on how to add value and improve efficiency within the CAMO.

It is essential that you understand and can explain;

·        Roles and responsibilities of a UK Military CAMO.

·        Core CAMO activities.

·        CAMO interfaces with Designers, Maintainers, Suppliers and Operators.

And that you are able to;

·        Assist delegates develop techniques and skills to support and improve CAMO efficiency.

·        Deliver/facilitate practice scenarios.

·        Travel globally as required as part of the role
