Zermatt, Switzerland

Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy
Framed by the majestic peaks and stunning landscapes of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Italy’s most upmarket resort is one of the oldest in the Dolomites.
As host of the upcoming 2026 Winter Olympics, Cortina boasts 120km of on-piste trails that take you through magnificent mountain scenery, providing plenty of engagement for beginner and intermediate skiers. Due to its location, Cortina lacks the convenient travel connections of other resorts. Fly into Austria’s Innsbruck Airport for a two- and half-hour drive, or the smaller Bolzano Airport for a slightly shorter journey. But for many, the allure of high-alpine Dolce Vita justifies the travel time.
