ATR 42

The ATR 42 is a twin-turboprop, short- to medium-haul regional airliner. The aircraft performs well at high altitude and in hot climates and is suitable for short runway operations. In mid-2000, ATR launched a freighter conversion program for both the -42 and -72, involving installing a forward freight door and modifying the cabin for freight.

The Beech 1900 is a larger version of the Beech King Air 200 with a larger capacity for cargo. It is a pressurized twin-engine turboprop fixed-wing aircraft. It was designed, and is primarily used, as a regional airliner. Ideal for smaller freight on short distances.

Piper Chieftain

The Piper PA-31 is a small twin-engined cargo, business and commuter aircraft produced by the US-American manufacturer Piper Aircraft Corporation. The PA-31-350 Navajo Chieftain is a stretched version of the Navajo B with more powerful engines and counter-rotating propellers to prevent critical engine handling problems.

The Antonov AN-26 is a twin-engined turboprop aircraft which is best suitable for more dense cargo, bulk loading, remote destinations with short runways and for ad-hoc flights. The AN-26 is a ramp-loading aircraft with a cabin large enough to even load a car.

The ATR-72 is a twin-turboprop, short- to medium-haul regional airliner. The aircraft is a stretch version of the ATR-42, providing a cabin space of almost 19 meters in length. The ATR-72 which is also available as “quick change” (with removal seating configuration) has one of the best fuel efficiencies amongst regional aircraft.

Cessna Citation

The Cessna Citation is mainly a passenger jet but suitable for the transportation of small shipments. It is faster than a turboprop aircraft, but usually can be more expensive. It has a range of over 3,000 km and is therefore ideal for medium-haul distances. It is the best choice for those small, urgent time-critical consignments to remote locations with smaller airports. The essence of the Citation Jet is summed up in simplicity, economy and performance and it is excellent in terms of fuel efficiency.

The Boeing 747-400F freighter is the all-cargo transport variant of the Boeing 747-400 family of aircraft.
