Bohemian Rhapsody, The Favourite

To recreate the iconic Wembley Stadium performance by Queen lead vocalist Freddie Mercury (winning Best Actor: Rami Malek), the production design team created an accurate replica of the Live Aid 1985 set constructed at Bovingdon airfield, close to Hemel Hempstead, 20 miles north of London. Not too far from here, London also lent its rich architecture for another Queen channeling performance... For this 18th century Queen Anne biopic, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz filmed on location at Hatfield House. The regal 16th century setting provided spacious interiors for the production design and cinematography. Other scenes took place at Hampton Court Palace and the historical city of Oxford.
